The diagram below shows the correct position for taking head measurements:

Taking Measurements

HEAD: The head fitting measurement is taken firmly around the forehead and the back of the head at the nape.

FRONT TO BACK: From the forehead at the hairline to the nape of the neck.

EAR TO EAR: Measure over the top of the head from the tip of one ear to the tip of the other.

So when you measure your head make sure that you record the following 3 managements.

- head measurement,
- front to back; and
- ear to ear
